Evaluations of Courtyard Duesseldorf Hafen
Room attendance knocking at the door at 8am to ask if they could clean. Not at all what I expect at a Mariott hotel.
pay for parking
good location. Away from city center, but good bus and tram connection in about 100 or 200 m distance (two possible stops). Beautiful architecture in the neighborhood.
Free-of-cost-WiFi very poor, if you pay a fee, you get better speed, but still rather slow.
Great hotel for foreign travelers. Front desk personnel and wait staff in resturant were excellent.
The front desk staff was suberb! The young lady that checked me (I did not get her name but it was Spanish and she wore black rimmed glasses. A young waiter, Jonas I think, was very pleasant and made my dining experience very comfortable. I travel a good deal and I rarely comment about individuals unless I thought there behavior was exceptional. And, I have recommended the hotel to a co-worker who will staying with you next month.
very polite and friendly staff, wonderful kingsize beds
Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Eierbratservice. Barpersonal insb. Danny
Kein kostenloser Internetzugang. Zimmer mit Blick auf Notfalltreppenhaus, ständig beleuchtet.
Kein kostenloses Internet.
I have stayed in the Courtyard on many occasions, and mostly had a good experience. I especially value the fruit supplied in the room.
It would be even better if they provided equipment to make coffee and tea.
The summer + week-end promotion policy of this hotel makes their offers very interesting, given the high standard. Also, the hotel neighbourhood is very charming, given its design building and fashionable restaurants/bars. I discovered another side of Düsseldorf.
Without a car, a little walk (7-10 minutes) is needed to reach the next public transportation. Since I had some luggage, I ended up taking the taxi.
