Evaluations of Courtyard Boston-South Boston
The staff was very nice, there was a free shuttle from the hotel to the train station and to the convention center which was very convenient.
The food wasn't fresh, everything was premaid. The pool is very small and not inviting. The gym was also small.
Clean, comfortable bed, remote with sleep function, strong shower spray
Rooms very clean.
Staff not very competent and friendly at times.
Relatively close to the customer office.
Shaving cream provided was a cheap, low quality, made in China, sachet. I expected better from Marriott. It is difficult to carry your own shaving cream as it gets mostly gets confiscated at airport security. My last stay at Longwarf Marriott I was given Barbasol. Please consider.
The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The hotel is 5-10 minute walk to the Sub Way and then only 10 minutes to down town. Very handy.
DO NOT USE THE PHONE TO PHONE ABROAD: $77 charge for 3 minute call to Germany. Very, Very expensive. One member of staff (a lady on reception, dyed blond hair about 20ish ) was very unhelpful (She short changed me, I think she new she had. Also not helpful when asking for a taxi or info on site seeing) in fact she was rude.
I had big problems connecting to the internet not sure if it was SAP or the hotel - but the lobby wireless worked ok
