Evaluations of Comfort Suites Newark
free internet (didn't try it). Friendly staff. good tv and channels. close to airport.
no free airport shuttle! $10 ride -to- airport offered. ride to hotel must be taxi or otherwise. older hotel. sports center is a converted hotel room.
The staff was very helpful and nice.
There was no shuttle service from the airport, you had to pay for shuttle service to the airport, most hotels in the area provide this as it's so close to the airport. The website said shuttle service was available but did not specify that they did not have one from the airport and that was inconvenient. The shuttle service was 20 minutes late in the morning! I could hear through the walls/ceiling in my room. The shower was one without a tub and water filled the bathroom to cover part of my foot after I had taken a shower.
room is good.
I had a nightmarish experience with the staff on duty on the 26th night and early morning. He denied me access to internet, spoke to me in very very rude language. The internet was made available to another guest right under my nose.I had a very emergent email taht I had to send to my customer in Japan. The staff in charge asked me to expalin the nature of my emergency so he could decide whether to allow mw or not.He was an Indian(like me) an I felt exceedingly humiliated and insulted. I checked out 2 days earlier than planned and moved to Ritz Carlton,Battery park, new york. I request you to stop issuing licenses to such uncouth and illiterate franchisees. I will feel a little releived and my bruised ego,a little healed if you can please reply to this email.
