Evaluations of City Residence Strasbourg centre
nothing, too expensive for the quality of the room.
the reception is close from 1 to 3 pm. this is not mentioned during the reservation. the room needs some refurbishing. I requested a large bed and I got twin beds as no more room with large bed available at 3pm. What is the use of asking the customer their preference?
Very dirty room. It seems it is only cleaned once a week. It looks to be a Motel for long stayings, but this is not explained on the description. Carpet had spots over all. Bed had doubtful stains. We should stay only for one nigth and it was too late to look for another hotel. The only good thing was the breakfast.
Clean sheets, close to downtown, quiet room, affordable in a very expensive city. Provides parking for 8 Euros a day. Still a good deal if you just look for a place to sleep.
In serious need of remodeling, bathroom leaking, carpet in horrible condition, matress worn, everything in various stages of decay.
Price-performace-hotel location in case of corporate price is good. Price about 70€ for night and hotel quality doesn't seem to me be good.
Near of the city center, very practical and still economical.
The hotel staff were quite friendly. Hotel corridors looked impressive, but...
The room was appallingly dirty. The bed sheets were stained and beneath the bed was evidence of the previous guest, as well as a part of the matress which was only hanging on by a thread. The equipment in the kitchen looked as though it needed a thorough clean. Parking is behind the hotel and the price was 8 € per day, but as we arrived on a Saturday evening, all we needed was 40 cents and that was enough for parking until Monday morning, so I would advise against the hotel's offer at weekends. To sum up, the hotel is in need of a good clean and a lick of paint. I certainly wouldn't pay more than 43 € a night for the place. Steer clear of this one at all costs, though! PS. The pictures appear to be from the 1980s or 1990s! And I almost forgot: one of the bathroom towels smelled of curry, the other of vinegar... exactly what one wants after a shower in the dirty shower cubicle!
Sehr karge und in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung. Für den Preis haben wir doch schon deutlich schöner gewohnt. Wenn man auf Billighotel macht, dann bitte auch den Preis anpassen!
Easy to find, good connections, garage, helpful personnel.
Very varm rooms, but impossible to open windows since the railway is less than 100 m avay. Even with closed windows it was very difficult to sleep, due to the noice.
Centrally located cheap hotel somewhat run-down,clean sheets
Very dirty old carpet and toilet was in desperate need of repairs and a total renovation but could be that booking on internet gave us the worst room?
for longterm stay with small kitchen
