Evaluations of Centro Hotel Keese
Quite honestly, surrounding, address, smell, size and looks (though clean) felt like the brothel 20 yards down the same road. My learning: never choose a hotel on Reeperbahn
The hotel is very noisy from all the loud music and shouting patrons of the nite-clubs nearby. The curtains couldn't keep out the bright light from the various sign boards out side. The food smell from outside somehow got into the room and all my clothes were affected as there was no wardrobe, clothes were hung on a railing. If you intend to sleep in peace, forget it ! However, the room was clean.
When I checked in they said no alcohol or cigarette's in the hotel.
The hotel is in the red light district, pictures on the website are not of the hotel, the room was tiny, could not walk around the bed, the view from the room was of a trashy dumpster area. When I checked into the hotel, I was instantly unhappy and spoke with the reception and asked to cancel my room, and they refused, and he was very rude. I also contacted Hotels.de to see how they could help since I had booked with them, and they stated if the hotel refused to give me the money back there was nothing they could do, they wouldn't even give a discount on another hotel. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the walls were so thin you could hear people in their room across the hall and the thumping of the strip club all night. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned, the walls were white, scruffed up alot, and had not been painted in years. This is more of a hotel to rent by the hour, not the day, not worth the $202 per day that I had to pay even though I did not stay. To get into the hotel you must get buzzed in from the street, and there are cameras in all the stairs and halls, which make you concerned if they have had to install them, how safe is the hotel.
Very friendliness staff, good location, good hotel for it price. But I would recommend taking slippers, and don't forget soap or shower gel.
too much noisy from neighbour bars etc ! They'didn't produce my invoice lazy people
It is right in the middle of town, if you like going out.
The disco next door has extremely loud rock music playing until 2 am. I had to use my earplugs and still had problems sleeping.
