Fire alarm went off three times in middle of night. Screaming drunks outside all night long. Room too hot, no fans. Should issue ear plugs at minimum upon check in...much to loud.

Great location. Walk out the door into buzzy area with restaurants, bars shops etc. Hotel is boutique // elegant and a bit 'old world' in style. Library bar upstairs is not like the usual hotel bar. Movement of people in and out, good atmosphere.

We had no cause for complaint at all.

If I were looking for a hotel for a private visit to Dublin, I would look at this hotel if its price was comparable to others at the time.

In comparison to other Dublin hotels used for business this was not up to standard

This was my second time staying at The Central Hotel. I stay there for the location and ease in getting around from the hotel. If you love old hotels and reasonably priced rooms in downtown Dublin, this is for you.

The second time we were given a smaller room, perhaps the smallest in the hotel, so I was disappointed.

Your location and the bar and it's staff // it's staff only

My credit card number was stolen by the short dark haired girl working behind the front desk at check out. I checked out on July 4th 2015 at 8:14 AM. This was the only place I used this credit card. She copied my info. on the mag. strip on the card. On July 6th my card was swiped in Catskills, NY,USA and POS entry in Arkansas,USA.. My son Bret Carroll checked out at the same time and his card numbers were stolen as well. His card was used in Canada. The other couple we traveled with are from Florida and their card number was stolen and used in New York, USA, We live in California,USA. None of the women working the front desk were very nice. Why would I return???????

I would always stay here as it is so central. So friendly. Helpful staff. Great cosy bar. Drinks cheaper than other bars. Everything you need from home to home and if you need anything else all you have to do is ask. Love it here. They even gave my daughter and boyfriend a free upgrade which was a lovely surprise.

It can be quite noisy at night from the other bars but you are in the centre of all the nightlife. You can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel from the street if this is a problem.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean,
