The area’s iconic cape towers 124 meters above sea level, casting an imposing shadow upon the sun-drenched, sandy shores; geologists have puzzled over the rock’s creation for centuries and in ancient times, the rock was considered an especially important place of holiness, and was frequented by fortune tellers and priests. This ethereal atmosphere can still be enjoyed amidst the breath-taking natural phenomenon of the area.

Dramatic cliffs, shimmering sea and breathtaking vistas constitute Capo Vaticano’s most arresting visions which should be enjoyed during leisurely and languid strolls or sails. The area’s most beautiful bay is Groticelle, which is famed for its white sand beaches and fascinating coves. During summer, the surrounding rocks are covered in fragrant flowers that create a postcard picture of pleasantry.

Boat trips will afford sailors incredible images of the magical sea water as it ranges from cobalt blue to glittering emerald in the different parts.
