WARNING - CAR PARKING SCAM! Before I was searching the website for a hotel, I spent a long time looking for a hotel that DID NOT CHARGE FOR CAR PARKING. Many hotels clearly showed 'additional charges for car park', and others said 'free car parking available on site'. However, with this particular hotel there was no information BEFORE I booked it (not the information supplied after I had booked it - i.e. 'car park: Additional costs may be incurred for certain services at the hotel'. In addition, before I booked, it was stated that there were 'No hidden charges'. However, I was charged 21 GBP for 24 hours and an additional 12.00 for 4 further hours, making the cost of parking the car (33.00) a bit less than the cost of the room (42.00). The hotel has large signs all over reception about the car park costs (please see attachment). I feel that I was deceived by your site about these costs. How can it be that you do not have this information and PUT IT CLEARLY ON YOUR INFORMATION ABOUT THIS HOTEL? I spoke with the manager and naturally he blamed your site for not making it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR AND UNEQUIVOCAL the costs of the car park, and no doubt you will blame the hotel for not giving to you this information. In my eyes, you are both culpable as you both benefit from this deceit. This is a recurring feature of broker websites - there is a large black hole where there should be clear and transparent information and responsibility. It suggests that at least there is a lack of due diligence on your part, at worst a deliberately misleading policy. I am 100% sure there will be no word from you (certainly not any consideration of these hidden costs), and so I will make my review plain and clear for other people who will suffer the same costs. Very small room, not cleaned (new linen but sticky floow in the bathroom and trash nearby the night table)

It has a good location for Canary Wharf, this is all it has going for it

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The bed was rock hard, the room only blew hot air and was at nearly 30 degrees celsius all night, the wallpaper was peeling off, there were numerous signs of damage including the words BIG D*CK scratched into the bathroom door and the pillows/bed smelled of stale sweat. I would not recommend this to anyone who has an alternative option.

Great location but so are all the other options in the area.

A tired hotel with smelly rooms, uncomfortable beds and windows that don't open to air it. It's in desperate need of maintenance. Definitely not a 4 star establishment.
