Positive I came down to Portsmouth for Victorious and ended up caught in a downpour. I was drenched and without a change of clothes, but the staff kindly took my wet togs and dried them for me. Absolute superstars. Negative Could do with a lick of paint but decent enough for the price.

Positive Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and well located. Breakfast was excellent with a very reasonable tray charge for room service Negative Parking was limited and it took an hour to find a space. There was a Health and Safety issue when the double glazing part of the window came away from its runners in my hand. I'm over 6 ft tall but was unable to hold it and dropped it to the floor. A l

Positive Size and location of the room was good and the receptionists were very pleasant but fairly stretched. Negative The queues at reception were lengthy as the checking in and out process are overly procedural. The decor is very tired and in need of an update and the soundproofing from the windows needs updating on a busy seafront.

Positive location and easy to find. Negative parking was an issue as the hotel was full and there was only roadside parking about 10 minutes walk from the hotel in a residential area.
