Positive Decent hotel at a decent price in Newark, which is a handy location and which seems to be rather limited in alternatives. Good restaurant with friendly staff. Negative Rooms a bit dated and creaky but acceptable and good value for money. I am rather puzzled as to why (for the last three visits now) reception staff look at me in the morning like I am the first person to have ever asked to check out in the hotel's hostory

Positive I have stayed in this hotel a few times when overnighting in Newark-on-Trent. Hotel fairly decent and reasonable considering limited choice in Newark-on-Trent. Negative Some parts of hotel quite old, thin-walled and with flimsy old windows. Can be a little noisy, especially in the Annex next to the main road.

Positive Good location in Newark-on-Trent, excellent value for money Negative Very slow to take breakfast orders and I ran out of time (although evening meal quality and service was excellent)
