Evaluations of Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport
The shuttle bus driver is extremely unfriendly and not service oriented. It was heavily raining on the day of my departure and the bus driver saw passengers approaching the bus but did not open the front door to enable them to enter the bus as quickly as possible. So they had to take a next door in the back. Also there was a discussion of the breakfast being included or not. I had another guest in front of me with the same problem that the hotel intended to charge us for breakfast although the rate stated to have breakfast included.

Quality of the room and hotel overall was lacking. Hallways were gloomy. Primary entrance to the hotel is not very traveller friendly with regards to anyone handling any kind of rolling luggage. Far nicer hotels are available nearby for comparable rates.
very quite hotel. nice circumstance for business trip. frequency of free shuttle to from airport.
overall darkness of corridor of hotel. wrong information from front desk regarding breakfast. delay of readiness at breakfast, plastic covers were in place on cheese, hams, toaster was broken less hot dishes compared with other hotel, only bacon and pork beans were available. Unfriendliness from waitress in the restaurant.

Lots of car parking available and free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Friendly staff in reception. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and great value for money.
The bed was not to my preference but ok for one night. The breakfast was a little sparse and very continental in set-up

On holiday in Amsterdam, didn't want to travel from the central to the airport and the Best Western offered a free shuttle service at very reasonable prices.

The bed was simply a sheet draped over a mattress (I make the bed better myself) // there were random hairs on the walls // the sink leaked and the lever to plug the sick didn't work // the showers had mold on the walls // the mirror in the bathroom had stains over it from what I assume (or hope) were cleaning products // the towels were old, falling apart, and dirty // someone tried to get into my room at midnight. The check in lady was also kurt and standoffish (which I would normally be okay with, but with all the other problems at this hotel it was the icing on the cake of a terrible hotel.) I travel a lot and consider myself a pretty relaxed traveler, and this was the only hotel I have ever felt the need to checked for bedbugs (due to the uncleanliness) and locked the door (due to feeling unsafe because someone was trying to get into the room).
