Evaluations of Barbarossa Garni
Wonderful staff. Gracious owner. Very helpful. Super breakfast (the eggs...!). Congenial atmosphere.
Not quite wheelchair accessible. But staff made every effort to help.
All room was spacious and as well as the bathroom clean. Very good breakfast.
Furniture, TB, bathroom appliances a bit aged
Excellent location. My single room was bigger than most I have experienced, all was spotlessly clean. Although basic, all the essentials were there, including a table/desk with lamp. Breakfast was great.
I was there during a town festival with performances in the street below so my room on the street side was naturally noisy while that was happening. The noise was not too bad the rest of the time.
Very friendly lady at the front desk. She also prepared the delicious breakfast!
We have stayed at the Barbarossa Garni several times before. It is perfect for our needs -convenient to the train station, shopping, and restaurants. The manager is friendly and helpful. We recommend the Barbarossa to anyone planning to visit Wurzburg.
The hotel staff and the breakfasts were very nice and overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The noise level of drinkers and young people on the street outside the hotel until approximately 4 a.m. were so loud that it was difficult to stay asleep with the sound of breaking beer bottles and screams of drunken people. Because it was necessary to keep the windows open for cooling air, the noises permeated the room and the entire area through the night.
Very good and pleasant overnight stay.
Some difficult finding the entrance at night as I was unfortunately delayed. The hotel is on the 1st floor so entrance is via a lift. At night this was not well signed.
Very nice atmosphere, clean and tidy and extremely friendly/welcoming staff. I felt very much at home during my two-week stay.
I would have liked to have wireless/internet access in my room.
This place was perfect for our first night in Germany. Centrally located, within easy walking distance of places of interest. Extremly helpful and friendly desk clerk.
