Evaluations of AZIMUT Hotel Kurfuerstendamm Berlin
Difficult to say, but either the quietness of the room or the helpfulness of the staff.
It's very trivial, but I missed a kind of bread we had a breakfast last year (with nuts in). Otherwise, nothing disappointed.
Central position and good value for money
The management should ask the people working in the courtyard very early in the morning to make less noise - particularly not to talk loudly.
Very good location close to S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations and a nice area.
One of the two room s we had was facing the street and even with the window shut traffic and street noise could be heard most of the night. Other room faced a courtyard and was very quiet.
It was better than an assumption
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good, but same assortment of food was served over and over again.
The noise in the room was terrible. Due to lack of air-conditioning and hot weather, we had to open windows, but then all the noise from one of the most central streets in Berlin, including frequent ambulance serenes, came into the room and made our stay practically impossible. In addition, the elevator in the hotel reaches only to the first floor, while to get to and from the ground floor, one needs to climb trough a steep stairway. Be aware if you are disabled or travel with small kids.
the hotel is in a good position for a good sight of the city, very near to public transport stations, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is nice, with plenty of choices.
personnel is a little bit unkind, not particularly helpful when asked for an information. Internet connection not available in rooms but only at the hotel lounge. personally I would rate the hotel three stars instead of four overall.
Noisy location, room sligtly run down, price not in line with standard to consider fair time.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Good services from the staff
I have been staying at the Fruehling am Zoo fpr nearly 10 years whenever I come to Berlin, somehow I prefer the old entrance. The room that I occupied on this trip has very old carpet that need to be replaced. Being a 4-stars hotel now, I think you should install a proper shower cabin rather than using shower curtain.
Many stairs up and down Dusty carpet Untidy cleaners Lack of renovation for old building
