Evaluations of Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center
Nice lounge and breakfast buffet
The hotel was fine - and the price I booked was well within my budget for the trip.
Very friendly staff
Pool very cold water and the pool area. Just on the arrival day (Su 1 Jan)was water accptable. Sauna defectiv (last time in December, same) The shower in Sauna area looks very ufriendly old, poor.
showers (ladies) where not appropriate. Please fix these.
hotel currently being renovated (Aug 2011) - old rooms show their age, but in general pretty clean
Great location and price for employees who like to collect Marriott points.
Old hotel that is in real bad need of renovation.
The staff was friendly and for the most part accomodating.
The room service choices were limited (and largely not healthy). Could hear sounds from the subway. Had a bad late night experience trying to print my boarding pass on 1 PC. Waiting for the man before me to try to complete with printer malfunctions for 20 minutes. I went to the desk (where only 1 person was on staff at 10:30pm) who suggested I go to the Concierge Lounge (which had closed at 10pm). Went back to the desk after another 5 minutes where the 1 person was with some other guests (no one was in the elite office). After waiting ANOTHER 5 minutes, he finally called someone from maintenance who did come resolve the problem with the printer. Meanwhile alot of time was wasted and the desk person never offered to simply print the boarding passes on our behalf and have the printer problem on the public PC resolved afterward.
Everyone of the staff here is extremely friendly and willing to help with everything I ask for!
If you stay here ask for an even numbered room. The odd numbered rooms are next to the train tracks and highway, and it's noisy all night.
A good hotel - close to shopping and restaurants
Convenience to public transportation (MARTA)
This is no longer a full service Marriott. They have closed their restaurant except for breakfast. A limited menu is available in the bar.
