The recently renovated Scilla hotel, situated in a palazzo and stablings from the Middle Ages, lies in the historical centre of Sovana, a former Etruscan city, which enjoys a fantastic position in one of the most beautiful tuscan landscapes.

The rooms in the main building and in our romantic annex Taverna Etrusca are furnished in a comfortable and elegant way, provided with bathroom, telephone, satellite television, air conditioning and minibar.

Our hotel has 2 restaurants. The Ristorante Dei Merli offers traditional cuisine. With its veranda and the wonderful view of the cathedral it is mentioned by the Michelin Guide. La Taverna Etrusca serves creative dishes, which you may enjoy in summer in our large garden, where we also organize cocktail parties and tastings of local products.

Sovana, classified by Unesco as heritage of world culture, is 2700 years old and is considered a jewel of the Etruscan culture. Here you may explore testimonies and traces of the Etruscans. The hotel has a contract with the spas of Saturnia and Fonteverde, which are at a distance of about 18 and 31 miles, respectively.
