An impressive former home of Russian nobles set in stunning lakeside tropical gardens, Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola au Lac stands on the shores of Lake Lugano in the sunniest region of Switzerland. A hotel since 1885, it has a mini-spa, fantastic Mediterranean cuisine and a delightful lido on the lake.
