The nice Parkhotel Lauenstein is situated in Lauenstein, near the motorway A17 between the Czech border and some 40 km to the south of Dresden. Lauenstein is a district of the Geising town set in the upper valley of the river Müglitz in an elevated position of up to 710 m.
