The 3-Star Hotel Alpenland with its 22 rooms is situated 7 km from the centre of Gstaad, in the idyllic Lauenen Valley. A few hundred metres south of the village of Lauenen, it borders the beautiful Lake Lauenen nature reserve with its reeds.
Enjoy the summer in this vast hiking area, with glaciers, waterfalls, mountain streams, moors, meadows, mountains, and the well-known Lake of Lauenen. Mountain bikes are available free to hotel guests – a great way to explore the Lauenen Valley. Winter brings snow-covered meadows and slopes right outside the door; cross-country ski-runs, the ski-lift and winter hiking trails can be found just next to the hotel.
