The beach of almost 6 km length and some 40 m width is one of the principal beaches in Europe. Awarded the BLUE FLAG by the EC for its crystalline water and fine white sands which make Playa de Palma an authentic paradise. Playa de Palma is the ideal location to practice countless nautical sports such as sailing water-skiing scuba diving fishing wind-surfing beach volleyball tourist cycling horse-riding. There are also excursions to different points of the island both cultural and leisure ideal for the whole family: the Drac caves archaeological remains national parks water slides dolphinarium safaris. The cultural activities arent just limited to the numerous museums monuments and events. You can also get to know the Majorcan traditions visiting the islands inland towns. |
