Just minutes from the M4 junction 18- the Cross Hands Hotel is a charming old posting house dating from the 14th century and is popular nowadays with- among others- country lovers- horse racing fans- motor racers- golfers and young couples and our own dear Queen sought shelter here during a blizzard in 1981. Those who like a bit of spooky history might like to know that the cellars were once used to house convicted criminals- sentenced to death by Bloody Judge Jeffreys. The Cross Hands restaurant is relaxed- spacious and situated on two levels- offering a warm atmosphere. Our guests are able to dine from our adventurous and interesting menu. Our chefs prepare food of the highest quality- from a modern well equipped kitchen. Our food has achieved an excellent reputation amongst local and international diners.
