The holiday village is sited on a 20 hectares area and has a central building and groups of small villas. The lodging offers large common areas and many amusement facilities. 3 Bars, of which one is beach bar and another is pool bar, living room, TV room, newspapers and tobacconist, laundry service, lift, car park, large meeting rooms, nursery and transfer service. From June 10 to September 09 beach service (2 deck chairs and 1 beach umbrella), No-stop transfer service from/to the beach 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., entertainment with games, tournements and shows, BAMBINOPOLI offering miniclub for children aged 4/10 and junior club 11/14 years, baby restaurant and various games, 45 minutes group courses for swimming, tennis, seven-a-side football, volleyball, bowls, minigolf. By Fly: Most people travelling to Capitolo will come through Bari-Palese Airport, Bari or Brindisi Airport. These airports have frequent connections with Rome and Milan, which are the principal airports for international flights. From Bari-Palese Airport take a shuttle to the Bari Railway Station (shuttles usually live the airport about 30 minutes after the arrival of each flight and tickets cost about 5000 italian lire), from there take a train to Monopoli Railway Station (for more datails see ARRIVAL BY TRAIN). From Brindisi Airport take a taxi to the Brindisi Railway Station and from there take a train to Monopoli Railway Station. From Monopoli Railway Station take the bus to Hotel Porto Giardino (the bus is the number 3S and usually lives every hour from the train station). Alternatively you can give a call to the hotel reception and ask to be taken by the hotel car (please note that this service is available only if the number of people is less than 4). ARRIVAL BY TRAIN From Bari (or Brindisi) Railway Station there are several trains to Monopoli Railway Station, for timetables see FFSS. From Monopoli Railway Station take the bus to Hotel Porto Giardino (the bus is the number 3S and usually lives every hour from the train station). ARRIVAL BY CAR By car from North: in the highways up to Bari Nord exit, in the Bari ring road follow direction BRINDISI/LECCE (on the E55/SS16 street) up to Monopoli ( about 40Km). Near Monopoli, after undercrossed 5 bridges follow the exit CAPITOLO and the Hotel is easily reached. By car from South: in the highways from Brindisi/Lecce follow the exit CAPITOLO (before Monopoli); from Taranto, crossing Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Fasano go down towards the sea and exit to CAPITOLO. |
