Glin Castle, home to the 29th Knight of Glin, has been in the Fitzgeral family for 800 years. Situated 32 miles west of Limerick city on the banks of the Shannon River on a 500 acre estate, its one of the last of the the great houses to still be lived in by the original family. Superb interiors with new classic plaster work, rare flying staircase and reportedly the best location of Irish 18th century furniture, pictures and porcelain in private hands.
