Queen Elizabeth I first decreed that there should be a resting place within a day’s ride of London, with The New Inn providing the staging post to the West. Today, twenty monarchs later, the Inn still plays host to those looking for a refuge from the pressures of life. Our rooms offer sanctuary while our menus offer sustenance.
