The beautiful Burghotel Stolpen is close to the Stolpen Fortress and had already been a historical place long before the present Burghotel came into existence. First it was a place where soldiers used to parade, then it became a coaching inn and an accommodation for ambassadors and later on it was a ballroom, a castle tavern with bowling alley and a cinema.

The cosy and rustic Schloßschänke Restaurant invites you to spend a pleasant evening with Saxonian wines or fresh draught Radeberger beer. We offer breakfast at sunrise and a fantastic panoramic view. Moreover, we are the perfect partner for celebrations with up to 80 guests with dance. The winter-garden and the sun terrace invite you for moments of relaxation. Whether you prefer refined cuisine or rustic dishes, we serve Saxonian specialties for every taste and, as a particularity, venison from local forests.
Adventuresome guests can take advantage of a number of leisure activities. We organise a number of programmes and take care of reservations. Upon request and reservation 14 days in advance, we will also arrange for horse riding, tennis and hunting events.
