In the midst of the fascinating Spreewald idyll, surrounded by close timber forest, meadows and flowing, the hotel Waldhotel Eiche lies lonely and a little bit enchanted. A green oak sheet belongs to the logo of the hotel, which can lookback on a long tradition. Built as a small reeds-roofed blockhouse in 1756 whatwas usual for the Spreewald at that time, it is said that the "Old Fritz" should have stopped off there some years later visiting "his" colonists in Burg's today's local part Burg- Kolonie. |

Utgångspunkt: SFX-BERLIN-SCHÖNEFELD Riktning: SE
Exit from Berlin Schönefeld Airport follow road signs to Berlin highway A113 and motorway junction Schönefelder Kreuz. Then follow road signs to motorway A13 to Dresden. At the motorway junction Dreieck Spreewald follow road signs to motorway A15 to Cottbus/Forst. Being on the motorway A15 take exit no. 3 Vetschau. Turn left under the motorway bridge, and then turn right to B115 at the next traffic lights. After approx. 800m turn left at the next traffic lights to direction Burg. At the roundabout stay on the main street and follow road signs to Burg. After crossing the rails you continue to drive straight ahead and pass the place Suschow. Immediately after the place Suschow the road forks off. Go left toward Naundorf/ Leipe. Not direction Burg. Remain on the main street. Entering Burg you cross the crossroads toward Burg/Kauper. You are now on the Ringchaussee and go on for approx. 4 km until you see to the left side a large sign "Waldhotel Eiche". Turn left onto Eicheweg and go on for approx. 2km.
