Exit Manchester Airport and head northwest on Wilmslow Old Rd towards Sunbank Ln. Turn left at Sunbank Ln. Turn right at A538-Wilmslow Rd. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the M56 ramp to Manchester. Merge onto M56. Continue on A5103 and at junction 5 exit onto the M60. At junction 15 exit onto the M61 towards Wigan-Bolton-Preston. Merge onto M6 and at junction 36 exit onto the A590. Continue on A591 signs for Kendal-A591-A6-Windermere. Go through 1 roundabout. Turn left at A5074-Elleray Rd. Continue to follow A5074 and the hotel is on the right.There are regular trains from Manchester Airport to Piccadilly; from where you can take the west coast main line to Oxenholme Station and change there for trains to Windermere Station. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and stay on A5230. Continue on M55 signs for M55. At junction 32 exit onto the M6 towards Lancaster. At junction 36 exit onto the A590. Continue on A591 signs for Kendal-A591A6-Windermere. Go through 1 roundabout. Turn left at A5074-Elleray Rd. Continue to follow A5074 and the hotel is on the right. |
