The Apollo Hotel is situated in one of the oldest, most characteristic parts of ancient Rome recently restructured. In a palace from the 1800*s with floors in wood and panoramic terrace, in 1935 our family created the Apollo Hotel. In 2000 the inside of the stable was restructured with materials and luxury furniture, which make the rooms and the common spaces elegant and comfortable. The Hotel has 24 rooms equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV and telephone. The Hotel guarantees a warm welcome and a particularly careful service. |

FROM THE AIRPORT : The Hotel is located 35 km from Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport and 15 km from Ciampino Airport. Taking the scheduled train from Fiumicino Airport you will be at the Roma Termini Railway Station in approximately 30 minutes. Just outside the station there is the bus stop (bus Ndeg170, Ndeg64, Ndeg40) which take you very near the Hotel. BY CAR FROM THE MAJOR ROUTES: Take the motorway around the city called G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare). From there, you have to take the exit Ndeg 8 , direction Salaria - Roma Centro. In any case, when you are driving your reference points are Via Veneto/Via Nazionale. Via dei Serpenti is a side-road of Via Nazionale. BY TRAIN: The Hotel is located about 2 km from the Termini Rome Railway Station. |

Rome, Italy*s capital, rises on the banks of the Tevere about 25 kilometers from its main outlet in the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is situated at the center of an undulating plain, the Campagna Romana, which is confined one side by the hills of Monte Mario, Gianicolo and Monteverde and on the other side by smaller hills of volcanic origin - the so-called Seven Hills. Two thousand years of history have made the artistic and architectural patrimony of Rome so rich that the tourist feels overwhelmed. Thus it is preferable to outline a precise program and to fix determined objectives, according to one*s taste and the amount of time available. The Hotel is near the marvellous ancient monuments as the Trevi Fountain, People*s Square, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and San Peter in Chains Church. Another thing we have to mention is the Borghese Museum inside the great wide area of Villa Borghese, Rome*s greatest garden. Rome is a very lively city, celebrated not only for its monuments but also for being the center of La Dolce Vita. Movie theatres are numerous and offer both new releases, just out on the film circuit, and films by little-known authors, projected in film clubs and in experimental theatres. The theatre season is rather brief, from October to May, but more than one hundred companies offer all kinds of shows: comedies by Goldoni, Pirandello, De Filippo, French and English classics, reviews, cabarets, political theatre, experimental theatre, etc. Tickets can be acquired on the day of the show.
