Welcome to the Best Western City Hotel Moran! The BW City Hotel Moran is a charming four star hotel in a beautiful historic building centrally located in Prague near Moldavia River. Within walking distance you will find most of Prague’s stunning sights, such as the National Theatre, Charle’s Bridge, Wenceslav’s Square, the Castle or the medieval town center. Situated near the hotel is also the Technical University, the Botanic Gardens, the VFN Clinic, the Ministry of Justice or the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing. Subway and Tramway stations are within a few hundred meters. For guests arriving by car, parking space is reserved at a garage opposite the hotel. ·From: West Arriving by car: From the West (Plzen) follow the sign "Centrum " until you are on Plzenska street, which becomes Kartouzska after passing hotel Movenpick and brings you to the banks of Moldavia River. Cross the river and go uphill on Resslova street. Take the third right into Vaclavska street. At the crossing with Na Morani you will see the hotel on the right hand corner. From the South (Brno, Vienna, and Highway D1) keep going straight on main street, direction “Centrum”. Once the street name changes into Legerova, stay on the left lane. At the signs with direction “Plzen”, turn left into Zitna street until you see a park on your left hand side. Turn left and keep going straight alongside the park until its end and turn right into Na Morani. The hotel is on the next right corner. ·From: Central Station The main station (Hlavni nádraži) on Wilsonova street is 3 km away. You will find good public transport connections and official Taxis. Trains from Berlin arrives at nádraží Holešovice. Here you should avoid taking a Taxi. The hotel can provide a pick-up service if we know your arrival details at 12 € per car. Or take the subway: fast, clean, secure and cheap. Buy a 26 CZK ticket and catch the metro (subway) to Florenc station. Change to yellow line (line B) by following the arrows. Catch the metro to Karlovo Namesti station. Follow the exit direction Karlovo Namesti, once you exit the ticket-zone, take the escalator on your right. Walk to the end of the street and turn right in to Na Morani. You will see the hotel on your right. ·From: Airport Arriving by plane: The Prague international Airport is 13 km away from the Hotel. Taxis cost approximately 25-28 Euros. Pick-up service can be booked in advance through the Hotel at 25 € per car and direction. |
