Hotel Features. Housed in two traditional Umbian villas, the Country House Torre Burchio is surrounded by 600 hectares of natural woodland and olive groves. Amenities include two outdoor swimming pools, a playground, two restaurants, and a bar. A safe-deposit box is located at the front desk (limited hours). Guests are welcome to stroll the extensive grounds, where barbecue grills and picnic areas can be found, or relax in the reading room with a cup of coffee and a complimentary newspaper. Complimentary parking is provided. Room service is offered during opening hours. Complimentary onsite recreation includes swimming, table tennis, bicycle hire, and bowling. Horse riding, tennis, jeep excursions, and fishing on the lake can be arranged for an additional fee. Cookery classes, and wine and oil tasting are also offered. Dining: A buffet breakfast is included with the price of accommodation.Lunch and dinner can be booked at both restaurants which feature daily fixed menus with traditional Umbrian specialities. From Perugia Sant Egidio Airport (PEG): Distance to Country House Torre Burchio is 27 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes drive. Getting there. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall Getting around. Public buses run throughout the region. Trains link Perugia to Rome, Florence, and Ancona (via Foligno or Terontola). Hiring a car is recommended for exploring the Umbrian countryside. Driving directions. From the airport, follow the E45 in the direction of Terni/Roma.
