The Schiff am Rhein Swiss Quality Hotel can be found 5 walking minutes from the railway station, on the Swiss-German border and the Rhine. Our hotel is on the edge of the pedestrianized historical old town, dating back to 1130. The town of Rheinfelden has thermal baths, open air and indoor swimming pools, tennis courts, boat excursions and museums to offer.
All rooms were renovated in spring 2000. They all have a shower or bath, toilet, direct-dial telephone, mini bar, TV, radio, alarm clock and hairdryer. Ask for our non-smoking rooms and rooms with balcony overlooking the Rhine.
Our spacious restaurant with its beautiful view of the old stone bridge across the Rhine offers a wide selection of excellent seasonal cooking. We are experts in French, Italian and Swiss cuisine. We are, in addition, best known for our first class fish-cooking, having won the Golden Fish Award in 1997-1998. During the warmer months you can enjoy our cuisine on our small and charming terrace above the Rhine.
