The hotel „Kalenborner Höhe“ is situated on 360 meters altitude above sea level, in the middle of the pure nature of the Eifel, only a few kilometres away from Altenahr. The village “Kalenborn” is surrounded by forests and invites for vast hiking and biking tours. There, you can still consciously enjoy the restorative tranquillity of nature for hours. Who would not want to harmonize body and spirit, or to dangle one’s soul on romantic paths, meadows and fields? In the heart of Kalenborn there is the source of the Swistbach, which is flowing through the whole shire, until it flows into the river Erft in Erftstadt. In the immediate proximity you may find the “Rotweinparadis”, the Ahrtal. It counts among the most beautiful tributary valleys of the whole Rhine. Every visitor is pleased about the almost Mediterranean climate, which can be found here due to an inflow of mild air from the Rhine valley.

We serve delicious quarry specialities and regional dishes, which are all prepared with a lot of love.
