Hotel Sachsenland is located in the lower Westerzgebirge mountain at the Pleiße river. There is a supermarket next to the hotel and the nice St. John’s Church is opposite the building. The town centre and the market square are a 5-minute walk away.
The 3 single and 12 double rooms are appointed to a high standard and come with shower, toilet, hair dryer, satellite TV, radio and desk. Non-smoking rooms are also available.
Our Wild West Saloon also serves as a restaurant where we offer American cuisine, accompanied by country music, poker and varied entertainment programme. Hold your meetings and celebrations in our function room, appointed with modern technology and seating up to 80 guests.
The Sahnpark north of the centre with a surface area of 40 ha is the largest recreation area in the town. The forest is traversed by 6,5 km long walking paths. Here you will also find the traditional outdoor pool, a deer park and a children’s play ground. The regular events include for example the Marktfest, the nationally known pot market in the Gablenz district, the car exhibition, the market of craft and commerce and the Christmas market.
