The Hotel has 74 individually designed bedrooms- each with their own unique style. Many boast unique features including hidden bathrooms- which can be found behind a bookcase or by walking through a wardrobe. For a truly remarkable experience- guests can indulge themselves in the King James Suite- a magnificent bedroom which boasts an ornate 20ft-high Queen Anne four-poster bed. Fine dining in the sumptuous Black Knight restaurant or intimate private dining rooms for special events if you prefer is also part of the Lumley experience- unless you prefer an evening of fun- feasting and merriment at the award-winning Elizabethan banquets. Armed with only a dagger and a bib- you can enjoy a five-course meal in the Barons Hall and be entertained with songs and sketches from an era long gone. A warm welcome awaits as we invite you to step straight into the history books and enjoy the unique experience that is Lumley Castle Hotel. The property is closed for business during the year over the following dates- 24th December-25th December-26th December-1st January and 2nd January. |
