Dignified and charming, entirely in classic white, the 200-year-old manor house rises above the historic centre of Bad Doberan. The Palais was built in 1795 for the establishment of the first German beach resort as the Logierhaus (Lodge) of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz of Mecklenburg. Consequently, Hotel Friedrich-Franz-Palais belongs to one of the most traditional hotels on the entire Baltic coast.
In recent years the Palais has been refurbished completely and today offers 52 comfortably furnished guest rooms and suites. The restaurant, multifunctional conference rooms, a sauna, a gym and a relaxation room, as well as the lounges, are great places to relax and enjoy. Modern communication technology such as internet PCs and Wi-Fi are offered to our guests free of charge.
The 52 comfortable guest rooms are tailored to meet your individual needs. Choose between reasonably priced standard rooms, comfortably equipped Komfort rooms, spaciously designed Junior suites or luxurious suites with a separate living and bedroom area. Our guest rooms offer a bathroom, a shower and WC, colour TV with cable reception, radio, direct dial telephone, mini-bar and a lovely view of the Doberan Kamp area or of the monastery garden.
Enjoy cuisine inspired by the sea and accompanied by good wines at our restaurant, which features Biedermeier furnishings.
