Hotel La Margherita is beautifully located in the heart of Alghero, overlooking the Lungomare Dante, a flat cliff suitable for sunbathing and swimming. It is close to the sights, shops, the Cathedral and the harbour. In 1999, it was completely refurbished and now contains all of the modern facilities.
Our hotel boasts 56 furnished rooms. Each room features air-conditioning, mini-bar, satellite TV, direct-dial phone and internet access. Rooms are furnished in different way and mostly have typical furniture in Mediterranean style. They have good natural light and some of them have a view of the town up to the blue line of the horizon.
We have an agreement with a restaurant, which is only 55 m from the hotel. After having a short walk through the characteristic streets of the ancient part of Alghero, you will enter a distinctive and friendly environment. People may taste sea and chef's specialities taken from the typical Catalan cooking.
If you go to the terrace, you may enjoy an enchanting sight of the town and the sea. The landscape, the seascape and scenery overlooking Alghero is astonishing, as many famous tourists usually say. There is a panoramic terrace, where guests may have breakfast. A private beach, with white sand, is at the disposal of the hotel and guests may be admitted and use beach umbrellas, deck chairs, walking wardrobe and shower cubicle free of charge.
