Hotel Plankenau Wirt is located in the administrative district of St. Johann in Salzburg. The world-famous Liechtensteinklamm (Liechtenstein Gorge), one of the longest and deepest gorges in the Alps, is a mere stroll from our property. The hotel is set right by the cycling path Tauernradweg, which is ideal for cycling tours along the river Salzach.
The 2 single and 20 double rooms are modern and come with bathtub or shower, toilet, bathrobe, hair-dryer, safe, satellite TV, telephone, radio and desk. Most of the rooms have a balcony. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.
