The picturesque surroundings of Owston Hall are the perfect setting for our Hotel which offers 63 luxurious heritage bedrooms - All fifteen bedrooms in the Old Hall -dating from the 17Century - have been individually decorated to provide comfortable and relaxing accommodation - All have ensuite facilities - colour TV- phone and modem to provide the perfect escape from work or for a quiet getaway - A further 32 bedrooms are situated in the Old Stables part of the Hall and guests can enjoy fine dining in the light and airy conservatory - Our fitness suite includes solarium - sauna and exercise equipment - Doncaster is a bustling town with one of the largest open-air markets in the country - The racecourse is the home of the famous St.Leger and other local attractions include the Mansion House - Conisborough Castle - Brodsworth Hall and Cusworth Hall - The Cathedral City of York- the Yorkshire Mining Museum - Royal Armouries and picturesque Clumber Park are but a short drive away - Owston Hall is an historic listed building and so the addition of 18 state of the art modern bedrooms in September 2007 had to be carried out within rules laid down by English Heritage - The exterior of the extension melds gently and sympathetically with the original country house and old hall while the interior offers the discerning guest the best in both comfort and latest facilities |
