Welcome to our hotel and to Chemnitz, a city older than 800 years. The Günnewig Hotel Chemnitzer Hof was built in 1930 in Bauhaus style by the architect Heinrich Strauner.
We offer 92 rooms ( 145 beds) in various categories. All of them equipped with bathroom, shower, toilet, hair-dryer, mini-bar, safe, radio, fax and modem connection, cable TV, phone and Wi-Fi.
All single and double rooms are first class rooms.
In our hotel you can start a new day with a good breakfast from our copious buffet. The Opera restaurant serves you culinary specialties and international upscale cuisine. In addition we offer you a monthly changing menu and traditional dishes.
The lounge is located next to the restaurant. This is the place to enjoy refreshing drinks and selected cocktails from 09:00 a.m. until 01:00 a.m.
We are also the perfect location for office parties, private celebrations, anniversaries and weddings.
As of 1st of April 2009 our hotel guests have the possibility to use all public transport facilities in the Chemnitz area.
