At the southern edge of the Lüneberg Heath in the district of Celle, surrounded by extensive tributaries, with moors, meadows and forests in the middle of the Meißendorf Lakes the three-star establishment, which was first mentioned in 1348: the Gut Sunder Naturhotel & Restaurant is located.
All 15 rooms are cosy, modern, non-smoking rooms equipped with telephone, WLAN internet access, radio, desk, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. 4 of the rooms have a wonderful view of the lake. Room service is also available.
The Kornkammer (Corn Store) and the Kaminzimmer (The Fireside Room) serve seasonal and regional specialities daily until 10 pm in separate smoking and non-smoking rooms. In the hotel bar, the Reiterstübchen, you can enjoy an excellent whisky or Cognac. And in the summer the beer and cafe garden with its serving pavilion is a great place to relax.
An events calendar provides year-round variety. From beer garden jazz, to a wine market or the Sunder in Flammen Music Festival, from the May Tree to the New Year’s Eve party, there is something for everyone on offer. Guests of the hotel will find the district packed with tourist attractions.
