Location – nowhere you can feel the heartbeat of the structural change in the Ruhr Area better than in the “Neue Mitte”. Nowhere the transformation was more impressive – from furnace to the CentrO, Europe´s largest leisure and shopping centre with more than 200 shops, 25 bars and restaurants. Environment – the hotel offers 210 comfortable rooms with bath, shower, hair dryer, telephone, radio, sat tv and pay tv, in addition one 24h hotelbar and one restaurant with sun terrace. W-Lan is available in the whole hotel. One internet terminal is located in the hotel lobby. Our conference area includes 6 air conditioned meeting rooms with day light and a maximum capacity of up to 180 people.
Leisure Facilities - One of the highlights is the Gasometer, town´s landmark and exhibition centre at once. From its platform on the top you will have an extraordinary view of the region. The CentrO offers excellent shopping pleasure and entertainment. Here you will find the family leisure park “CentrO Park”, the high rope course “Tree2Tree”, the leisure fun swimming bath “Aquapark”, the model railroad museum and the Sea Life Oberhausen. The “König-Pilsener-Arena” is offering various top events. Together with the guests of the changing musical production in the Metromom Theater, the CentrO is attracting about 23 million visitors. The musical “Dance of the vampires” is presented sill the end of January 2010.
