The history of the Hostal Empúries stretches back to the beginning of the past century. The main building, the oldest part of the hotel, was built in 1917. Later it was enlarged by 2 wings. Further construction work occurred in the fifties resulting in the unison between the original hotel style and contemporary comfort.
The hotel offers a total of 38 rooms divided into 30 double and 8 single rooms. Most of the rooms have been recently renovated and tastefully furnished. Half of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the beach.
Our restaurant serves you Mediterranean cuisine and a combination of classic and experimental dishes. We invite you to take a seat and enjoy the specialties based on rise while admiring the wonderful view of the sea.
Costa Brava is known for its versatile landscapes. You can rent bicycles at our hotel and can visit the Greek and Latin remnants or the Greek quay situated at the beach of the small medieval village of Sant Martí d'Empúries. You can also make interesting trips, play golf, ride a horse or undertake water sport activities.
