The four-star Hotel Sumba and its sister property, the Hotel Borneo, are located side by side in a quiet area of Cala Millor, Mallorca. The properties have shared facilities and are positioned just yards from one of Mallorca’s finest beaches. Both hotels were renovated in 2002 and the combination of beach life, excellent entertainment, and local amenities close to hand make the Hotel Sumba the perfect choice for families.
It has 252 double rooms and 28 single rooms. The bright, spacious, air-conditioned buffet-restaurant is ideal for informal breakfasts and long, lazy dinners. A barbeque and a snack bar next to the pool allows sun-bathers to snack whilst relaxing, whilst the hotel bar in the lobby is open all hours and provides a great setting for a cocktail or three.
This centre is located within the Hotels Complex with direct access from the main street. It’s managed by companies with a wide and long experience with nature sports in the Balearics. The Hotel Sumba is a particularly family friendly property and its entertainment programme reflects this. Your kids will be so busy at the Hotel Acorn Sumba you’ll hardly see them. A dedicated children’s entertainment team is on hand to supervised treasure hunts, handicrafts, water sports, competitions and games.
There are three swimming pools at the Acorn Sumba: an outdoor adults and children’s pool surrounded by a large, landscaped sun terrace and an indoor pool which is heated throughout part of the year. Remember, for sea-lovers the beach is just a stroll away.
