The Hotel, inaugurated in April 1992, consists in a refurbished ancient homestead, a fortified rural complex, typical of the area; refurbishment preserved the pre-existing structure (today hosting the Hotels hall, reception counter, bar, and restaurant), enlarging it with new wings hosting the rooms. In the countless little markets held on a weekly basis in the nearby cities of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Monopoli, Alberobello, Castellana, visitors shall find clothing, typical products, terracotta items, utensils. Other products worthy of mention are the famous ceramics of Grottaglie, hand-embroidered fabrics, wrought-iron goods, and food products.
