Londra Palace Hotel will be closed from 4th January to 28th February 2009 for refurbishment.
With amazing views across the lagoon and just steps from St. Mark's Square, Londra Palace Hotel has a superb location on the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Here, Tchaikovsky was inspired to compose the first three movements of his fourth symphony.
From the striking white facade to the stylish interiors, the feel here is one of elegance and sophistication. Rooms are lavishly decorated with Biedermeier furnishings, colourful fabrics and oil paintings on the walls. Gaze out of your room window for a romantic view across St. Mark s Basin to the island of San Giorgio.
Enjoy lunch at the restaurant, Do Leoni for light, contemporary cuisine and then wander over to the Doge s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, just steps from the hotel. In the evening, attend a concert or opera at the renovated Teatro La Fenice. Return to the hotel for cocktails in the Gallery Wine Bar.
