Seckford Hall is set in the heart of Suffolks Constable country/ but with
easy access to major road links and a gateway to many picturesque
towns and villages. The hotel is just 7 miles north of Ipswich via the
A12 highway/ and nestles in a hollow to the west of Woodbridge
by-pass. Guests should follow the by-pass/ avoiding the first turning for
Woodbridge/ until they see the distinctive blue and white hotel sign.
Whilst staying at the hotel/ you may wish to visit the following places-
Snape Maltings- Experience a wonderful day strolling around the many
shops offering an array of special things to buy. There is a craft shop/
antiques and collectors centre/ things for the garden and superb food.
River Boat Trips- Why not take a boat trip between Snape and Iken
Church/ a real piece of history dating back ti 647AD/ or from
Waldringfield down the picturesque River Deben.
Woodbridge- Explore the narrow streets and discover the Tudor timber
framed buildings/ a Victorian windmill and two fascinating museums on
Market Hill.
Framlingham- Walk the full length of the remarkable 12th century
battlements that encircle the castle where Mary Tudor once lived.
Ipswich- Visit this delightful market town for excellent shopping

Take the A120 towards Braintree/Coggershall And A12. After approx 30 miles
join A12 heading towards Colchester/Harwich/Ipswich. Continue for approx
30 miles to outskirts of Ipswich/ then right onto A14 towards Felixstowe.
Join back onto A12 after approx 10 miles heading towards
Lowestoft/Woodbridge. Seckford Hall is well sign-posted And situated left
off the A12 past Woodbridge roundabout.
From London Heathrow
From the M4 join with the M25 towards Watford/ exit at junction 28 for A12
towards Colchester. Continue for approx 80 miles to outskirts of Ipswich/
then right onto A14 towards Felixstowe. Join back onto A12 after approx 10
miles heading towards Lowestoft/Woodbridge. Seckford Hall is well
sign-posted And situated left off the A12 past Woodbridge roundabout. |
