The Edgewater has welcomed numerous celebrities throughout the years, perhaps the most famous of whom were The Beatles. Staying at the hotel during their first world tour in 1964 they were rushed back to the hotel after the show in an ambulance, while taxi cabs and stand-ins were used as decoys. The Fab Four fished from the window of room 272, the photograph of which has become famous. Go straight through the next light and continue past Space Needle on Broad St., which leads to the waterfront. Cross the railroad tracks and bear left onto Alaskan Way. Hotel on the right.
