Brown’s Hotel is part of The Rocco Forte Collection. Set in the heart of Mayfair on Albemarle Street, this elegant hotel is a short walk from exclusive boutiques on Bond Street, West End theatres and the tranquility of Green Park. Brown’s has an exciting history as it was the first ever hotel to open in London in 1837. Composed of 11 Georgian town houses and following a £24 million restoration, all 117 bedrooms (including 29 luxurious suites) have been individually designed and encompass state-of-the-art technology. The Albemarle restaurant, which under the craftsmanship of both Lee Streeton and Mark Hix, has been awarded Three AA Rosettes and serves an outstanding menu of great British classic dishes, using only the finest of local, seasonal ingredients. Traditional afternoon tea in The English Tea Room has been awarded Top London Afternoon Tea 2009, by The Tea Guild and The Donovan Bar is London’s fashionable meeting place. The Spa at Brown’s offers a 24-hour gymnasium and three treatment rooms where guests can enjoy a range of exclusive treatments. The hotel is also home to six unique, private dining and meeting rooms, for up to 120 people. |
