Gastronomy
Get ready for the day from 7am to 10am at our breakfast-buffet. From 11:30am to 10pm our chefs await your visit in our restaurant to pamper you with their creations und the slogan “trend & tradition”. Do you have any special requests to our kitchen staff? Maybe you would like to have a themed buffet for your function or you might want to spend a rustic afternoon with a ride in a horse-drawn carriage and some pea soup at our fish ponds?

Rooms
You will enjoy your stay in one of our 30 rooms, partitioned between the main building and the three adjoining buildings.
Each room is appointed with shower/lavatory or bathtub/lavatory, hair dryer, telephone, TV and high-speed internet connection (wireless). Special features are to be found in our themed rooms for example the “Wine-Room”, the “Wellness-Room”, “Honey-Room” and the “Black and White Room”.
Leisure / sightseeing
The location at the border to the national park “Lüneburger Heide” offers an almost infinite number of possibilities to create your own personal dream vacation. The unique nature of this region may be experienced in the barefoot-park in Egestorf, where you can learn about the diversity of nature on 16 hectare and in 60 stations. Next to the barefoot-park is the “Aquadies”, the only open air bath in Germany operating without any chemicals.
Nearby the hotel you will find a wide range of jogging courses through the woods and over open fields. In just a few minutes driving time you will find a go-kart track (by Ralf Schumacher) a high ropes course and an archery range. You may go swimming in the Soltau Therme or maybe you like to go skiing in the Snow Dome. And these are just a few examples of the available options. Ask us for more!
Hobby golfers as well as top athletes will find some demanding but always manageable challenges on the nearby golf courses (e.g. GreenEagle, 18 holes, 20 minutes away / Hof Loh, 18 holes, 25 minutes away / HLGC Hittfeld, 18 holes, 25 minutes away).
Approach
The family run hotel Egestorfer Hof is situated at the border to the national park Lüneburger Heide at the outskirts of Hamburg. You will reach our house easiest over Autobahn A7 (Exit 41). Located at the centre of Egestorf there is now way around us. |
