Norton house was built for pleasure, its understated luxury and beautiful surroundings await to welcome you. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, close to Scotland's major motorway network, only 1.5 miles from Edinburgh airport and just 6 miles from Edinburgh's Waverley train station. This 47 bedroom hotel offers the best of both worlds; a choice of traditional and modern guestrooms. In the original house, rooms are furnished in the grand style of a country mansion, with new areas having a more contemporary style. Leathers, gleaming mirrors and rich fabrics providing an outstanding luxurious finish. Award winning cuisine is the very essence of Norton House and with a choice of 'Ushers' our 3 rosette Restaurant or The Brasserie offering a large varied menu in more relaxed surroundings. 24-hour room service also available ensures we cater for all your dining requirements. Five event rooms are available within the main hotel catering from 2 to 300 guests. These rooms are suitable for seminars, private dining and weddings whilst the 6 conference rooms within the Gathering Conference Centre are more suited to training and private company meetings. Throughout the hotel a traditional atmosphere without a trace of stuffiness is flawlessly maintained, ensuring a memorable visit along with a personal touch. |
