Something which our guests are also able to feel, returning to us year after year. We look forward, beginning this winter, to having the opportunity of welcoming you to the new-old Posthotel Schladming. We - Marina Steiner and Christian Gappmayr - have invested our enthusiasm and commitment in breathing new life into this hotels rich tradition: bringing with us the skill set of a large family business, the Hotel Pichmayrgut in the Ennstal, and countless years of experience. We will preserve the traditional, tried and true, yet refine it with the zest of the new and a pinch of modernity. In the process, attaining a perfect symbiosis with our Styrian roots. You will be able to sense this and taste it: In our exquisite dishes, rooms appointed with loving attention to detail, in the relaxing wellness area, in our cultivated interactions, and in our heartfelt hospitality. The mountains are far from restrained as they call out to you. During your winter vacation, the Dachstein-Tauern region offers you a wealth of opportunities, combined with a setting that couldnt be more beautiful: Cross-country skiing in the Ramsau, downhill skiing on the Planai, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoe hikes and lots more. Outdoors filled with activity - indoors filled with relaxation. Dining: Here, as well as in the Alte Post restaurant, you can enjoy exclusive Styrian cuisine and our rich selection of wines. Recreation: Schladming is the very heart of the Dachstein-Tauern Region and lies in the midst of a 4-mountain ski alliance comprising the Reiteralm, Hochwurzen, Planai and Hauser Kaibling, with 115 km of contiguous ski slopes. Action, Schladming and Summer these three words are inseparable! The daily program includes countless sports, such as climbing, hiking, running, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding, paragliding, canyoning, fishing and swimming. We are always more than happy to organize the recreational activity thats perfect for you. And for those daredevils amongst you, ATV tours, downhill roller riding from the Hochwurzen and a high-ropes course, serve up just the challenge youve been looking for. After an adventure-packed day, theres no better way to cool off than with a refreshing dip in the waters of Pichls swimming lake, the Schladming Adventure Pool, or by taking a family rafting tour on the River Enns. |

By car: From Germany via Salzburg to Radstadt on the autobahn (A 10), then 18 km along the main highway (B 320) to Schladming. From Vienna in the direction of Linz on the West Autobahn as far as Amstetten, then via the Pyhrn Autobahn to Liezen, followed by another 50 km on the B 320 to Schladming. From Vienna on the autobahn to Semmering, then take the expressway and autobahn to Liezen, followed by another 50 km on the B 320 to Schladming. From Italy, Carinthia via the Tauern Autobahn (Udine-Tarvis-Villach) as far as Eben/Pg., then 18 km along the B 320 to Schladming. Out of the direction of Graz to Liezen via the autobahn, then highway B 320 to Schladming. By rail: Schladming Station By air: Salzburg 90 km, Munich 290 km, Graz 190 km. |

With 160 m2 of floor space, the seminar area has plenty of room for everything from small meetings, to special events hosting as many as 120 people. The seminar rooms can be partitioned and provide lots of daylight ... who else can boasts that, during their meeting, they were able to gaze out on the magnificent Dachstein Massif! And with its numerous lounges and alcoves, the Posthotel also offers plenty of space for group discussions. So that you can continue uninterrupted during the evening, we would be happy to reserve the Knappenstube or the Postamt exclusively for your group. But what would a seminar be without an activity program? We would be glad to assist you in planning all aspects of your seminar! No matter whether you are thinking of a fun evening at a mountain inn, prefer an elegant gala dinner with a champagne reception, or seek exciting sporting challenges. For team building and sports programs, we work closely with the Royer Events agency. We are delighted to organize fun Olympics with obstacle courses, courses to test your tractor skills, ATV races, crossbow competitions and the awards ceremonies to follow. Or how about a hike by torchlight, a visit to a brewery, a wine tasting in our very own wine cellar - the possibilities are virtually inexhaustible. |
